Jeffrey (Jeff) Haegelin
As an undergraduate at Wesleyan University, my research focused on conducting molecular dynamics simulations to design antibodies with increased binding affinity for the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. My experiences as a thyroid cancer survivor have fueled my drive to develop targeted immunotherapies for patients. In the Okada lab, I am honored to have the opportunity to work at the forefront of brain tumor immunotherapy and to contribute to understanding of T cell biology.
