During my undergraduate studies, I studied MRI imaging of brain tumors and the tumor microenvironment under the mentorship of Dr. Benjamin Ellingson and Dr. David Nathanson. This experience solidified my interest in translational neuroscience and exploring therapies for brain tumors, particularly glioblastomas. Now, as a member of the Okada Lab, I am eager to deepen my knowledge of neuroscience and immunology. I am enthusiastic about elucidating the region-specific immunosuppressive characteristics of the brain tumor microenvironment and contributing to the development of novel immunotherapies for effective tumor treatment.
