Keith Kyewalabye
Junior Specialist
As an undergrad at Caldwell University, Keith had the opportunity of studying DNA damage repair proteins as biomarkers for prediction of cancer treatment response at MD Anderson. This exposure to the potential of targeted cancer therapies inspired him to study interleukin polymorphisms as a potential cancer therapeutic target for his honors thesis. In the Okada lab, he looks forward to learning and contributing to the discovery of novel immunotherapy targets for glioma. He hopes to attend a medical scientist training program (MSTP).
