Natsuki Koide
I am a fifth-year medical student at Nagoya University School of Medicine in Japan. While completing my clinical clerkships, I conduct research in the Department of Cancer Biology at Nagoya University. My research focuses on innate immune activation by temozolomide as a predictor of immunotherapy response in glioblastoma. Through this work, I have developed a strong interest in immunotherapy for brain tumors.
I am spending two months at UCSF as a Visiting Undergraduate. My long-term goal is to become a physician-scientist who bridges basic science and clinical medicine. I joined the Okada Lab to learn translational research and am currently studying synNotch-CAR T cell therapy for medulloblastoma under Maggie’s guidance.
Outside of the lab, I enjoy singing and driving.
